The Weiner Family Foundation

Animal Care Funding

Every year in Philadelphia, nearly 22,000 homeless, abandoned, and unwanted dogs and cats enter the city’s animal control shelter. According to the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), nearly a quarter of them – over 4,000 pets – never return alive. The Weiner Family Foundation supports no-kill shelters and sanctuaries. We also are happy to support non-profits that share our vision with the public through education and visitation. The foundation is open to supporting shelters, sanctuaries, and other animal-related groups to help promote the well-being of all animals. Contact us today to learn more.

A Voice for the Voiceless

“Over the years, I’ve come to appreciate how animals enter our lives prepared to teach, and far from being burdened by an inability to speak, they have many different ways to communicate. It is up to us to listen more than hear, to look into more than past.”

― Nick Trout
